HipHollywood has learned that pop icon Janet Jackson is currently back in the studio working on new material, however she is certainly not doing it for the money. According to a new report by Variety, Janet is a confirmed billionaire or at least has made a billion dollars in her lifetime.
The singer/actress has earned $458 million from touring, $304 million from acting, $260 million from album sales and pocketed more than $81 million in sponsorship deals. Coupled with this is the fact that Jackson recently married a billionaire. Eyes cannot just but see just how wealthy she has become.
The news of her wealthy status comes in handy to silence reports that Jackson is broke. Back in 2012, several gossip outlets speculated that the singer could not afford to pay the mortgage on a Las Vegas condo her mother was staying.
At the time, Jackson’s camp immediately blasted the rumor as false and with a chubby bank account like hers, we believe it.
